2025 delivered more than we could have dreamed for the first year of our Global Campaign leading up to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. With plans for the 2026 Global Campaign occupying our minds, we want to take a moment to look back—to celebrate and remember all that was accomplished this last year. 

The 2025 Global Campaign took Wrestling for Peace Ambassadors to six countries: Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, and Jordan. Spreading the message of peace through sport and shared humanity, it has sparked a global movement, demonstrating that wrestling is far more than a sport — it is a powerful vehicle for hope, resilience, and human connection.

A Powerful Culmination

The stellar year culminated at the Wrestling for Peace 2025 Winter Gala in Washington, DC, hosted at the historic Army and Navy Club. Athletes, diplomats, military leaders, partners, and supporters gathered to celebrate impact, honor deserving champions for peace, and reaffirm a shared commitment to using sport as a bridge between communities and cultures.

The overwhelming energy and support in the room demonstrated that our message resonates across cultures and communities—and that this first Gala set a bold and inspiring standard for years to come.
