Pakistan: W4P Propels Pakistan

Wrestling for Peace celebrated a significant victory as Pakistan triumphed on the world stage at the Veterans World Championships held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Mohammad Akram Khan, representing Pakistan, clinched a prestigious bronze medal in the Veterans World Championship, marking a momentous achievement for Pakistani wrestling.

Entering the tournament without a coach, Khan requested Dan Russell, Wrestling For Peace Ambassador, to sit in his corner. Under the guidance of Russell, Professor Khan showcased determination and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Russell said of the momentous event, “It was an honor to coach Khan in his remarkable journey to securing a coveted spot on the podium, earning accolades not only for himself but also for his country.”

The Veterans World Championships witnessed fierce competition among seasoned wrestlers from across the globe, making Khan's achievement all the more remarkable. His performance not only showcased his individual talent but also highlighted the growing prowess of Pakistani wrestling on the international stage.
